ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

•Department of Microbiology (UG) has been established in the year 2003-2004.

•The Department consists of three faculty members.

•Faculty members are well qualified, committed and have good exposure in academic affairs.

•Many eminent, Academicians, Resource Persons from various college and universities invited to widen the knowledge on subject.

•To make the students to achieve academic excellence, social harmony and women empowerment.

•To promote character building along with academic thoroughness.

•To promote Life skills in the field of Microbiology.

OBJECTIVES

•The study of microbes helps us to understand our world, our place within it.

•It gives us insights into the complexity of nature and society.

•Which in turn provide many different health, environmental, social, cultural, industrial and economic benefits.

•The overarching goals for the laboratory portion of this course are to teach microbiological techniques and to show students the impact of microbes on our daily lives and central roles in nature.

•To widen the students understanding and broaden the horizons of knowledge in Microbiology.

•To impart value based education besides book is knowledge.

•To develop the students ability to understand and appreciate the subject to meet present global scenario.

•To improve the total personality of the students.
