Best Practices of the Department of English

English Language Lab:

The Department of English constituted the “English Language Lab” in the academic year 2018-19.   It is designed for improving student’s communication skills by enriching student’s spoken skills and pronunciation as a free service.   It is also useful for the students who have rural background and less touch with communicative English so that they can succeed in their interviews.  It is organized by all the members of the Department. 

Career Guidance

   The Department of English supports the students in shaping and managing their career by building necessary skills like communication skills, soft skills, interview skills, negotiation skills etc. in order to make them efficient for their career and jobs.  The department give career counselling to the students.  Thus the department plays a key role in guiding the student to employment and for competitive examinations.  Due to these continuous efforts and services some students are doing M.A. (English) courses and other specialization courses in English Language.

Certificate Course in English

    The Department of English is offering Certificate course on “Grammar / Communication Skills" for the students to equip themselves to face interviews during the span of 30 days, students are trained in grammar, interview skills, writing skills, books and authors and vocabulary.  Certificate Course 2018-19, 2019-20 - Spoken English;  2021-22 - Spoken English;  2022-23 - Essential Grammer.
