Department of Statistics - Strengths and Achievements

Strengths:

Two monographs were published

Attended various national and state level seminars/workshops .papers werepresented

The department assures the student friendly atmosphere

Financial help to poor students

Gives prizes to encourage the students

Provides question bank to students and guides them for preparation of semester examinations and competitive examinations

Supplies study materials to students to give seminars and to prepare project works

Many of our students pursued higher education and settled in good positions as teachers, lecturers, bank employees etc.

As a part of the society outreach program the faculty were visiting schools and taking special classes on the subject
